IT_005 : Merry Christmas (2013)

Last December 2014, we had a family trip to Hong Kong and one of the things which I was really looking forward for was dropping by Starbucks.  For me, it was an opportunity to add to my Starbucks Global Icon Series and Card collections!

At first, I was really looking forward to collecting the Hong Kong special edition which was exclusively designed and released in Hong Kong in May 2014.  To my dismay, it was already not available.  But I was surprised when the barista showed me the album of available cards and there were cards not included in the 2014 Holiday Season line-up in the album.

So, this one was what I got and later on, I learned that this card was first released during the Holiday Season of 2013.

This was collected from Starbucks in Citygate Mall near MTR Tung Chung Station on December 11, 2014.

IT_003 : Merry Christmas 2014

Since I already have the Burst of Fall (which my officemate Raymon originally got for me when he went to Kuala Lumpur in November 2014) and I knew that there was another design for the 2014 Holiday Season which was released in Malaysia but not here in the Philippines, I really plead to him to look for the Card with Poinsettia. And after dropping by 3 Starbucks stores, according to him, he found the Merry Christmas 2014 design.

I am really grateful for his effort in finding this card for me!

IT_004 : Burst of Fall (copycat?)

I asked one of our colleagues, Raymon, who went to Kuala Lumpur in November 2014 to buy a Starbucks Card exclusively designed for distribution in Malaysia.  On his first attempt, this was what he got - Burst of Fall. Consequently, I already have this. 

Hence, I have two of this kind released in two different countries. :)

PI_006 : Christmas Tree 2014

As they started their 2014 Christmas Season campaign, Starbucks also released three new Starbucks Cards, two regular cards and one mini.  This design is one of two regulars and it is named as Christmas Tree 2014.

This was collected from Starbucks in Waltermart, Makati City on November 3, 2014.

PI_007 : Snowman 2014

The Snowman 2014, or Winter Friends, is another design released by Starbucks for their 2014 Holiday Season campaign.

 

This was collected once again in November 2014 from Starbucks in Waltermart, Makati City.

Last Christmas season 2014, I was greatly overwhelmed with the present given by my dear friend, Ann.

It's a white (Christmas) mug from Starbucks, sobrang aylabit!!!

Fruits of Labor

In February 2014, Katz and I did a consultancy work for a graduate student named Cristina.  As souvenirs for doing that work, we bought these Starbucks items from our pay.  Katz got a tumbler for herself while I had the white mug.

 These were collected from Starbucks at the 2nd floor of Trinoma Mall in Quezon City - the place where we held our consultancy meetings.
